Bestselling author Scott Thornbury, who writes in the English language teaching sector, has won an Outstanding Achievement award at the British Council ELTons Awards 2024. Scott is a teacher educator and Series Editor for the published by À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ & Assessment.
Every year the ELTons Awards celebrate those who have found new and innovative ways of helping English language learners and teachers around the world achieve their goals.
Recipient of the Outstanding Achievement Award
Thornbury received his award for his unparalleled contribution to English language teaching (ELT) as an educator, author, editor and mentor. His career spans over 40 years in the field of English language teaching. The judges praised his ability to bridge research and practice, inspiring innovation globally.
